Level I:
the “Is It a Word–Or Not?” flip-book makes more than 1,200 CVC (consonant-short vowel-consonant) syllables and words.

Alphagram products are designed to help all kids learn to read, write and spell.
A little background: My son Alex was an early talker, but was still not reading at age seven. An Orton-Gillingham-trained tutor helped him crack the code. Her methodology was first-rate, but her homemade materials needed a major upgrade. The cards were always getting out of order and falling on the floor.
This was a design problem that needed solving.

Level II:
the “WordMaker” with 6 card packs and stand.
Finally, flash cards you can spell words with!

“When children touch the letters and
say the sounds, magic happens”
Dr. Hazel Goodwin Kim
Reading Specialist and Alphagram Consultant

After attending conferences, consulting with literacy experts, and visiting schools to meet with teachers and test with kids, I designed (and patented) the “Is It a Word–Or Not?” flip-book, It was a big success.
Soon, teachers requested cards with digraphs, blends, and diphthongs. The result: the Alphagram WordMaker with six card packs and stand.
